So take a regular FITA match, it's 144 arrows, and you shoot a 1200. Average score for the match is then 1200/144 = 8.3 An end in archery varies, an NFAA indoor end consists of 5 arrows, an NAA indoor end has 3 arrows, NAA outdoor end uses 6 arrows for the long distance portion. He went out with his Daddy and shot about 15 arrows when he drew it back to shoot again and it broke in two, right at the handle. It scared him and he was hit in the head by it. Now that I look into it more, Bear Youth Bows do not have a good reputaion, yet they carry a price as if they were good. It's good to about 25 yards, and is even handling the 'adult' arrows pretty well from 25 yards. Don't expect tight grouping with this bow, don't expect to get a deer with it, but OK for a starter bow and teaching the basics to a youngster. Wouldn't buy it for an adult though, we've had it less than a month and already looking for a 'real' bow for my wife. Of course it got me addicted so I'm also in the market. Additional tie-downs would be of benefit also because my quiver must be detached to close the case and the arrows don't stay secured during shipping. Overall, I'm pleased with this case.
